Florida Memorial University's Marching Band
The ROAR makes history by being selected to represent the United States in France for the 26th edition of Bandafolie's July 2023!

July 13-16, 2023 The ROAR will be a featured performance group in the 26 th edition of the LES BANDAFOLIE'S festival. The festival is comprised of 10 highly selected bands from all over the world and The ROAR has been selected to represent the United States. This festival will take place in central France, Bessines-sur-Gartempe. Supported by the Regional Council of New Aquitaine, the Departmental Council of Haute-Vienne and in close partnership with the municipality, the Bandafolie’s association decided to bring together ten international bands, i.e. more than 350 musicians. We are pleased to have been invited to this 26 th edition of the festival, which will take place from Thursday July 13 to Sunday July 16 2023. While there the students and staff will also have the opportunity to tour the sights of Paris, adding another powerful cultural expereince to be treasured forever.
